The main function of "A" branch is regarding "Planning" under the negotiation with GAD and the heads of the Department (under the administration control of Industries and Mines Department). The branch prepares a annual plan every financial year "A" Branch Co-ordinates the same information and represents it to the GAD. The branch collects and prepares a five years plan according to the guidelines given by the GAD. This branch is also performing on important job of Monitoring Plan expenditures.

Issuing Fund Availability Certificate for HBA, MCA.
Consolidated of data from HODs to be sent to Finance Department.
Preparation of Performance Budget, Block of Establishment, Grant Aid, Review of Plans, Scheme.
Reconciliation of Expenditure with Accountant General's Office .
